BPA Karla Castellanos was seriously injured on October 21, 2023 while on-duty when a car crashed into the Border Patrol checkpoint at Welton, Arizona. Karla is recovering from her injuries in a medical facility in San Diego. The prolonged recovery process has been tough on the family, both physically and financially.
